Nikon D810 Manual
To get the most from your camera, please be sure to read all Nikon D810 user manual instructions thoroughly and keep them where they will be read by all those who use the product. To make it easier to find the information you need, the following symbols and conventions are used in this manual. Install the Nikon Manual Viewer 2 app on your smartphone or tablet to view Nikon digital camera manuals, anytime, anywhere. Nikon Manual Viewer 2 can be downloaded free of charge from the App Store and Google Play. Download of the app and any product manuals requires an Internet connection, for which fees may be levied by your phone or Internet service provider.

Take a moment to familiarize yourself with the controls and displays of the camera. You might find it useful to mark this section and refer to it as you read the rest of the manual. Do not place the speaker near magnetic devices. Failure to observe this precaution could affect data captured in the magnetic devices. Close the cover of the connector when the connectors are not in use. Foreign material in the connectors can interfere with data transfer. The control panel displays a variety of camera settings when the camera is turned on. The elements are shown here appear the first time you turn on the camera; Information about other settings can be found in the appropriate sections of this manual. The clock of the camera is powered by a rechargeable and independent power supply, which is loaded when it is necessary when the main battery is installed or the camera is powered by an optional power connector and a (page 436) AC adapter. Two days of charging lights clock for about three months. If the B icon flashes on the control panel, reset the clock and date and time recorded with new photographs will not be correct. Set the clock to correct using the option time zone time and date and date > date and time in the Setup menu (page 18).
