Read this Canon EOS 60D Manual when using the camera to become more familiar with the camera. With a digital camera, you can immediately view the image you have captured. While reading this manual, take a few test shots and see how they come out. Then you can better understand the camera. To avoid botched pictures and accidents, first read the security warning and precautions for handling. The EOS 60 d is a digital SLR camera of high performance, digital, with a sensor CMOS of fine detail with approx. 18.0 effective megapixels, DIGIC 4, high precision and high speed AF 9 points, approx. continuous shooting of 5.3 fps, live firing and shooting of movie Full HD (Full-High-Definition). The camera is highly sensitive to fire at any time, offers you many options to fire advanced, and offers many other features. With a digital camera, you can immediately see the image that has captured. While reading this manual, take a few test shots and see how come. Then you can better understand the camera. To avoid accidents and defective images, read the safety warnings first (p.305, 306) and handling precautions (p.12, 13). After shooting, playback and check if the images have been recorded correctly. If your camera or memory card is defective and the images can be not recorded or downloaded to a PC, Canon is not responsible for any loss or inconvenience caused.

This camera is compatible with SD memory cards, SDHC memory cards and SDXC memory cards. This manual will refer to all of these cards as a "card". The camera does not come with a card to record images. Please purchase separately. Before you begin, check that all the following items have been included with the camera. If anything is missing, please contact your dealer. LC-E6E or LC-E6 battery charger included. (LC-E6E comes with a power cord). If you purchased a Kit lens, check that the lens is included. Depending on the type of Kit lens, the lens instruction manual could also be included. Be careful not to lose any of the above elements. The instruction manual for the software is located on the CD-ROM as a PDF file. See page 316 for instructions to find things in the operating instructions of the software. All operations explained in this manual assume that the power switch is already set to <1>(p.28). Assumes that all settings menu and custom functions are configured as default. For explanatory purposes, the instructions show the camera connected with a lens EF-S18 - 135mm f / 3.5-5.6 IS.
